The gameplay represents a typical sandbox model and can be played in many ways in The Sims Freeplay. So we can send our sims to work or deal with interior design, gardening, caring for animals, or doing various household chores. The creators have prepared several different career paths, such as a musician, actor, firefighter, teacher, scientist or politician. Sims can also pursue a variety of hobbies appropriate to their current age. The city map has been enriched with a number of attractive locations where our pupils can enjoy a variety of entertainment and activities.

We start the game as an adult Sim, but with subsequent game updates, the creators introduced as many as 5 different stages of life (from infant to senior). The death of our ward is also possible. A peculiar curiosity is the fact that the authors raise issues of a moral nature.

When the time comes when we have a nice, harmonious group of Sims in The Sims: FreePlay, there is nothing to prevent them from occasionally having a small party, for example by the swimming pool, next to which you will set up a springboard for fun and other attractions. Why do all this? Well, even though your Sims are only virtual characters, they also need entertainment, food, etc. to make them feel good and enjoy their lives. Fortunately, we do not have to worry about what is happening to them at night, because when night comes, they will also go to sleep.

The graphic design of The Sims Freeplay represents the level typical of the first computer instalments of the series and is characterized by a similar number of funny animations accompanying the performance of individual activities. The game takes place in real-time, and the natural limitation of the freedom of the game is the time needed to perform various actions. Of course, we can get around these limitations by using a typical microtransaction system. Thanks to them, we will also obtain several exclusive elements of appearance, decor, and interior design.
